Speaking of inner sleeves in general, the thin paper sleeves used by many record companies for vintage records are almost always split to some degree. Grading is obviously subjective, but I do my best to be conservative in grading against the following criteria: Media Mint (M) Immaculate - Used for new sealed items onlyNear Mint (NM) Perfect Excellent (EX) Minor issue, not quite NMVery Good Plus (VG+) Light scratches, scuffs, old finger prints, micro-warpVery Good (VG) Faded, Visible small scratches, slight warpsGood (G) Faded, Moderate scratches (some detectable with fingernail) moderate warpsFair (F) Heavily scratched (several detectable with fingernail) and or significant warp. Might play ok, but noticeable static, popping, skipping to be expected. More listenable in some genres than others.Poor (P) Heavy scratches, chips and/or significant warp. (If I list one in poor condition it would be something special or the accompanying sleeve is in decent condition.
