Description: WWII Era US Marine Corps USMC Mark 2 Knife w/USN Mk2 Scabbard - Blade Marked: Camillus, NY - NICE Condition Up for sale is a WWII Era Original US Marine Corps USMC Mark 2 Fighting Knife w/USN Mk2 Scabbard. The knife has a Stacked Leather Washer handle with a Blued Blade. This item is used, see photo's for condition. A few minor nicks in the blade, see photo. No rust or pitting on the blade. The blade has no evidence of excessive sharpening. The knife is marked on the Blade: U.S.M.C. and Camillus N.Y., see photo. The leather handle is in NICE Condition. The leather is soft and supple. The leather has darkened, but it still hast that rich dark brown color. No cracks or breaks in the leather, just the normal handling marks you would expect from a knife of this vintage. The guard is tight and pommel has some very slight movement. The USN Mk 2 scabbard is Original to the knife. There is a repaired crack on the side of body of the scabbard, see photo. Some wear on the paint finish. There is fraying on the edges of the canvas upper portion, see photos. The metal portion of the scabbard is marked: USN MK2 and NORD 4723 over B.M.Co. VP This knife is used, please see photos for condition. This is a Very Nice Example of a WWII USN Mark 2 Fighting Knife. If you see M.H.
