Description: This auction is for One E-13 Waist Gun ADAPTER Project Here's a well-used, incomplete & original World War Two E-13 Waist Gun ADAPTER as found in the B-17 Flying Fortress, B-24 Liberator and the B-25 Mitchell. This example can be used either for a project or parts to complete your existing Adapter. Large, clear images above show its general condition, which includes lots of rare original parts including the K-13 Gunsight Bracket/Gun Safety, Adapter Trigger plus its drawbacks. The dealer I got it from in the early 80s said it was modified to be used in a county fair shooting booth, which is the reason the tube ends were cut off. He had the Adapter 'restored' by welding-on new tube ends and inserting springs so the recoil end would simulate the original's function. - Recoil Ends were cut off to be used in a carnival booth, later 'restored' by welding on new tube ends - Mfr plate missing - No Back Guard Assy - Several stress cracks in the plastic Grips (which haven't changed in the 40+ years of my possession) - Flaking silver paint but no rust - Adapter Trigger (aka Bell Crank) included This E-13 Adapter is big and heavy. Feel free to ask questions. - NO INTERNATIONAL SALE OF THIS ITEM - Kingman Army Air Field lives at Depot41.com KEYWORDS: WWII souvenir, A-20 Havoc, A-26 Invader, B-17 Flying Fortress, B-24 Liberator, B-25 Mitchell, B-26 Marauder, B-29 Superfortress, B-32 Dominator, United States Army Air Forces, USAAF, Browning 50 cal caliber machine gun, Sperry, Martin, Emerson, Bendix, Turret, Instrument Panel, Stick Grip, Bombsight, Sperry, Bombardier, Bomb Bay, Bomb Rack, Training Bomb, guitar strap
