Vintage BARBIE AMERICAN GIRL TITIAN Redhead Clothes LOT Pretty CMagic Case BIN!

Description: That's a spicy tomato! This cute 1965 Redhead Titian American Girl Barbie is quite a firecracker, and she comes in an American Girl single doll case with several tagged Barbie clothing pieces; Sleeping Pretty gown & robe, Studio Tour dress, Pretty as a Picture dress, Vacation Time Sweater & Shorts, Color Magic Mix and Match Skirt & Pants, and some nice clone and homemade pieces. This AG Barbie is in Excellent condition with color-washed lips and a little added blush:) She doesn't have any earring holes, neck splits, or nose nips. Some of the clothing might need a small repair or cleaning, but there are some nice vintage fashions and fabrics in this lot. The Kaiser doll stand is not included in this sale. I've collected vintage Barbie for 30+ years, and I scrutinize items I sell on eBay. I don't grade anything as "Mint" unless I've just taken it out of its original packaging. This pretty AG is from 1965, but she seems almost like a transitional doll to the longer hair AGs. Her hair is the coarser textured material, but it is a a pretty deep cinnamon red color with a lot of shine. (Some AGs have the softer hair which is usually lighter in color). She has laid on her hair for many years, so her hair could use a little restyling in back, as it does want to part back there. I don't see any missing hair plugs. Her brows and eye make-up are all original and quite vivid; she even has a little smokey eye shadow. Her lips were all there, but had faded to a yellow creme color. Her lips have been retouched to their original coral color, which is quite becoming:) She also has been given a little blush, which makes her features pop! No earring holes or stains, nose nips, or neck splits. Barbie's Excellent condition body is marked 1958 Japan on her right butt cheek with raised lettering, see pics #21 & #22. Both legs bend at the knee, but they make soft bends, not loud clicks. The left leg bends back 3x, but wants to pop out of the 3rd bend sometimes. The right leg bends back 2x and holds the bend. Both legs hold all poses at the hips. The left leg is very tight at the torso, the right leg is not as tight, but it isn't "springy" or wobbly, and holds all poses at the hips. No poke marks or tears. The arms are tight with all of their polish. There is a single poke mark at each foot's outside ankle; on the left foot a closed toe shoe will cover the poke. On the right foot, the poke is barely above the back of a pilgrim shoe. Accessories Pic #12: The turquoise closed toe heels and squishy pink flats are vintage Mattel; 1 turquoise heel has a slight dent/squish on the side of the shoe. The Pak red envelope purse is Mattel. All other accessories are clone; no splits to any of the shoes. The clothing here is pretty clean, but many tagged pieces need a stitch or minor repair. Some of the homemade outfits are very nicely done; the pale green lace gown, and brown print gown are clean and well made. There's a cute bright striped pair of wool pants, and nice pink linen type pants. There's a nicely crocheted black coat, and a cute clone white cloche hat. The tagged Barbie outfits need a little fixing; the Vacation Time sweater has raveling halfway around the collar edge front and back, though the shorts are fine. The Color Magic Mix 'n Match Skirt looks pretty good, but the pants have some blue spotting on them. Studio Tour dress has a small tear at the neckline, the upper bow is a bit messed up, and there is slight fraying at the armholes. Sleeping Pretty robe is missing the ribbon ties, and needs a replaced elastic loop. The lace at the left sleeve's cuff is raveling/coming loose a bit. The matching gown has broken straps that are knotted in back. The gown does have lots of snagging. The Sporting Casuals sweater looks cute with the clone plaid skirt; it makes me think of Francie's Hip Knits fashion. The sweater has a thread pull across the back shoulders (the sweater is still solid there), but the sweater front looks very nice. Pretty as a Picture dress is missing its jewel, and it has a small bit of wear (not a hole) in the fabric above the short pin at skirt right side. Barbie will come in her white very good condition American Girl single doll case, no. 1002., see pics #23 & #24. The case has a good handle and clasp, and both interior drawers for accessories. The graphics on the front look great, and there are no splits in the outside vinyl. There is some rippling in the outer vinyl, mostly on the back of the case. The sides of the case show some creasing. The accessory drawers show wear: 1 drawer has a label saying Shoes on it, and the other drawer has tearing along 1 side. There is a pinkish stain (felt pen?) on the lid's inside, and the inside hinge of the lid has vinyl tears at each side. This vivacious American Girl doll & her clothing will add pizzazz to your doll display!
