Description: This is (half of) a vintage, 1940's WW2 issue M1923 ammunition/magazine web belt, in excellent, but incomplete condition. This belt is usually made of two halves, each with 5 conjoined magazine pouches, for a total of 10. You can see with this item, the belt is present, which would attach the halves together, but the other side of pouches is missing. Unfortunately, that half would've had the identifying/specification information, with the manufacturer and date, and this side is unmarked. This comes from the estate of a WWII and Korean War USMC veteran, so that along with construction clues definitely date this into the early-to-mid 1940's. As it's photographed, in it's current spec, this half measures 26 inches long. When the belt is attached to the other half, both sides can cinch separately to drastically increase the length of the belt. A great piece to complete a full belt. Excellent vintage condition. Some slight scuffing to hardware from storage. A few loose threads. See photos for more details. Sold as-is. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to request more photos. Thanks.
