VINTAGE 20th C Mahogany & Satinwood Arch Top Bookcase SECRETARY DESK by BAKER

Description: Just arrived to our shop is this gorgeous Vintage English Chippendale Style Satinwood Inlaid Mahogany Secretary Desk by BAKER. It looks spectacular, features a broken-arch fretwork carved top, and below it are two glass doors with individual pane bubble glass. Inside are wood shelves, making it a fantastic bookcase or curio vitrine. The bottom is in a form of a chest, the top drawer when pulled out brings out a fitted interior with six drawers on ends, door in the center and mail slots. Front of the drawer drops down and beautiful gold tooled leather writing surface. Below the desk are four drawers in three rows, two large ones on the bottom, with two half their size above, all with their high quality oval pull drawers. Inside of one of the drawers are metal labels "Baker Furniture" and "Collector's Edition". The condition of the secretary is good, showing light age / use wear if any (please see photos). Size is large 95" tall, 43.5" wide, and 20" deep. This will shine in any setting, and will serve generations to come!
