Description: Vine Time Kit 3 Varieties | 25+ Seeds Each Hairy Clustervine, Scarlet Morning Glory, Yellow Jasmine Hairy Clustervine - We finally found out what this 'Florida Mystery Vine' is! It's the Florida Native Hairy Clustervine (Jacquemontia Tamnifolia) or 'small native morning glory'. Its pretty rare and little is written about it. The vine has heart shaped leaves, clusters of small blue flowers, and produce seeds in tiny pods from the center outwards. Its super cute and is a huge erosion control helper. The roots dig deep and vines grow 12 feet long. Best to plant in spring for weeks of flowers during the late summer. It's a member of the Morning Glory family, so it blooms new flowers each day with a few on each 'cluster'. Scarlet Morning Glory - Scarlet Morning Glory is a gorgeous vine that grows vigorously! It puts off beautiful flowers in the early Summer and continues to bloom into fall. The leaves are quite large and have a very unique shape. The many bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds love to visit the vines regularly. This vine is commonly found growing on fence lines of properties. It is an annual, but re-seeds for the next year. Yellow Jasmine - We were delighted to see beautiful yellow Jasmine flowers all over the farm! It blooms in the wintertime and is usually only thing flowering at the time. The vines are everywhere - all over the Yaupon Hollys, up the Turkey Oaks, and covering the downed Pine Trees. The vines wrap the plant loosely and do not seem to choke out the host tree (like most vines will do). The flowers start about November and bloom through February here in north Florida. The seed pods will start to develop and rattle in late Fall. These seeds were harvested in 2023 Seed Starting Each seed pack has planting instructions on the back of the pack These 3 varieties are fairly easy to grow, but Yellow Jasmine may take some time.
