Description: This is a turn of the century wicker bottomed sewing basket. It has its original brass lock and key and "English Made" is on the lock. Brass handles on each side. Lined in pink satin. Please look at pictures to verify condition. Wooden spools of threat to include: Button Hole Twist, Belding, Button Carpet Thread, Berkshire & Berkets Silk Co., American Thread co., Woolco Sewing Silk, and Paragon Pure Silk. There are a few buttons, some sewing needles in packages, some large sewing & crocheting tools in the tray, and other miscellaneous items. I am leaving them in there because they came with the sewing basket. Key is in a plastic bag with another key that was in the box in the top tray in one of the covered compartments. Last picture is on some gold writing on the inside of the leather piece attached to the lid. I couldn't figure out what it said. Please enlarge the pictures. This is a neat item!
