First introduced on top of the range machines in the late 50s and to Cinelli's VIP range in the late 70s. All our kits are machine punched for easier stitching and perfect alignment. Each handlebar kit contains: 2 quality soft leather covers, ready perforated and ready for lacing 2 sets of waxed thread for lacing (black and cream) 2 blunt end needles Full photo illustrated fitting instructions (Bar plugs not included) Matching leather bar plugs available here A set of handlebars can be completed in approximately 2 hours These covers will fit most types of drop handle racing bars with a bar diameter of 24mm (+/-1mm) Fitting the covers is like lacing up a shoe. The leather is laced damp so it will stretch and then shrink dry, giving a smooth, professional, fitted finish.Almarc, Cinelli VIP Style.
