Description: US Civil War Confederate Cavalry Sword. Louis Haiman & Bros. Completely unmarked. The pommel is tight, the grip will move a tiny bit if you force it, and the guard is loose. The knuckleguard has a little bend. The oilcloth grip is 90% complete with some minor surface loss (mainly near the guard) and looks like a 1/2" glue repair by the pommel/knuckleguard. The steel or iron straight wrap is 100% complete. The blade is lightly sharpened, the tip area more so sharpened (sharp), a few nicks, has small age spots with light pitting scattered throughout, and there is a very slight bend about 3/4" up from the tip. The washer is missing. No scabbard. Length of the blade is 35 1/2" (1 3/16" wide and 5/16" thick), and the sword is 41 1/8". Check out my other War Items! Including Several Swords and Many Bayonets!!
