Flat and smooth copy that's clearly been handled before, with some moderate wear and surface build-up. A little rough edge in lower-left back corner, and cream-colored pages, but spine is solid, flat, and copy is easily mid-grade -- perhaps even a bit better if for that little corner issue. Has some minor spine dimples, visible in photos, likely been read before, but otherwise seems still in good shape.193GD--05/85 - NEWSSTAND VARIANT - Double-sized KEY ISSUE (100th issue with the New X-Men) - 1st app Firestar (Angelica Jones), 1st Hellions (Team) and 1st Warpath in costume Obviously this is a low-grade copy that someone attempted to restore, applying tape along the cover. Despite this, as you can see, the cover is still loose, putting this in the "low-grade" category for sure. Even so, since it is a KEY ISSUE, if you just want to fill in that annoying (and now expensive) gap in your run, this more-affordable copy could help since it is complete.194NM-5.2506/85 - Juggernaut app, vs Nimrod, 1st appearance of Fenris twins (Andrea and Andreas Von Strucker) What a fantastically flat, shiny and smooth copy (almost like glass)! Seems like there's a hint on the spine that this one might have at least been paged through once, but it left behind little to no evidence -- see those close-up, in-your-face side photos. Only a hint of any edge wear at top-right of back. Pages still near-white. It's not quite full NM, but you won't be disappointed in this top-notch copy for sure. Displays beautifully!
