She is best known as the author of the Anne of Green Gables series. This is a hardcover first edition. 159 pages. It contains ninety-four poems, most of which had been previously published in North American periodicals between 1899 and 1916. It is dedicated “To the memory of the gallant Canadian soldiers who have laid down their lives for their country and their empire.” Published in Toronto in 1916 by McClellan, Goodchild & Stewart.
