Most of his jackets like this retail in the $6-$8K range, but this is the most detailed, incredible piece I’ve ever seen from him running over $10,000 w/tax back then (today it would be more like $12K with their price hikes) – it’s just dizzying how much went into it! This jacket (red version) was Tom’s personal selection to head his campaigns that year (see reference). The red and brown versions are rare enough, but this might be the ultimate – I’ve never seen it ever on the market in all my years collecting TF. It has the white tags which usually mean a prototype or sample – it may be a one-off and it’s also the normal runway size 48, so this may have been the same piece used in the runway show (see photos). These Tom Ford suede jackets are the height of luxury. This tan masterpiece in soft suede is just right (suede reflects light so I included photos in different lighting to give you a sense of this epic colorway). Commanding attention without screaming, there’s no end to the number of A-List celebrities who love these jackets (Drake, Chadwick Boseman R.I.P., Ryan Reynolds – Jason Momoa and Ed Sheeran even have multiples in many colors). This jacket is substantial! You can feel from the weight vs other Tom Ford suede and leather jackets just how much went into it. Tom Ford outerwear is Godly and this is one of the best examples I’ve seen! Selling this for a friend, but I’ve had these in the past and it’s epic.
