Description: This is a complete set of a very early guide to teaching, including volumes on primary (1-5), intermediate (6-9), and junior-high school (10-12). It includes chapters by many of the foremost educators of the time, representing many institutions of higher learning ie Columbia, Stanford, University of California, University of Chicago, University of Pittsburg to name a few. I've taken pictures of the 4 pages contained in the Analytical Index that explains how the volumes are organized. While these volumes are certainly outdated as a tool for today's classroom teacher, they present a great historical perspective of pedagogy and would be a great conversation piece and historical reference.
