Description: Great exclusive, AUTHENTIC, retired, rare kettle bell must have! Grab this for your collection while you can! It will be great to own a unique piece like this! See pictures for condition! This was the first mold they made and they have retired that one. This is reason I put retired in my title and description. Please watch when shopping because there are people wrongly using my title and description for casts that do not match and are not retired. You can still get the new mold from company for $83. They come in and out of stock. This mold you cannot get any more. It is the original of this particular design. The new ones are similar to this one, but there are differences and often people miss the subtle differences. If you know what you are looking for, you see the differences immediately. The shine is a give away because newer molds are shinier than mine. If it looks like it was in oil slick and showing light all over the face, this is not it. The ones you see showing the reflection of light around the lines of face are not authentic and misusing a copy of my listing and some are listed as sponsored so be careful. I do not need to sponsor mine as it speaks for itself. People will know mine is the original mold. One of the other things is lines of face are less defined on ones not like mine. There are people buying them from company right now and trying to pass them off for same price. These are not the first ones. Please be careful when shopping. I see a lot of the newer ones labeled retired when they are not first edition mold or retired. The new casts are being sold for $83 by company. These are not the same as mine. I took clear pictures from every angle so you can see it to know it is authentic. You can use my pictures to reference when shopping for first editions. Please do not use my pictures to sell yours. Mine is authentic and original. These pictures cannot be used for the mold they sell right now in stock that comes and goes in stock. It is not the same thing. Please do not use the pictures. Our pictures are of the original item at time we do listing and item is in our hands. A lot of first editions by companies of original casts will be more defined in face and have more distinct features than others. Some are subtle differences. Once they start mass producing in factories with the mold for rest, they will not be same as those original casts. Molds for mass production in factory are not the exact same as originals. They will do prototypes, trial runs, and first casts of original molds, then move onto a new mold for mass production. The original mold cannot make too many so it will not be suitable for mass production, which is why they look different when there is new mold. That is where the subtle differences come in. Sometimes they will be very different than the original runs. The face features are more distinct and detailed than other molds. Make sure you use my picture as reference when you examine others listed for authenticity. This is the authentic one, not ones you can still purchase from other molds. You can tell the difference in the details of the face. I hope some of this helps some of you shopping for this on Ebay and other places who have run into people selling the new mold. If you are selling, please do not put RETIRED unless you know yours is first mold edition or they sell out forever and will not come ever be coming back from company. I hope this helps the sellers too because I know it is easy to have copy and paste mistake without knowing why someone uses the verbiage. Some of the ways you look at: 1.) Easiest giveaway is shine 2.) How defined lines the lines of face are 3.) Particularly the ear shape and lines of ear 4.) the shape of base, like if it is that too perfect cut of the bottom then you know it isnt the rough draft run or first runs. When you look at the picture of the base, in the middle, you can see where mine has a wonky uneven cut of the chin. This is perfected out in the mass runs. One those, it is a ver smooth even cut and “perfect” looking symmetrical shape of it. Mine is wonky before they changed it to smooth it out. 5.) the overall view of it looks mass produced how the lines seem less quality work and “blurry” or “smeared” look 6.) the width of the bar is another. If it not same size as my handle. 7.) the connection area at back of ear and handle, if it is more filled in and not as defined 8.) words, number, and square not same depth and as defined as mine. The way mine is on the kettle bell, you can see the difference side by side with the pictures 9.) too smooth where there is not those imperfect cuts of the first ones before they made it better for mass production using on mold. If it is too perfect then it isnt one of the first ones. 10.) the lines of the forehead wrinkles are not defined the same way mine is. This a spot that gives it away also but if you are not looking, you may not see it. These are some of the ways you can look to make sure you have authentic one that is retired. Please use mine my photos as reference to protect yourself. Compare them to mine to be sure it is authentic and not being passed off as one. I put a couple reference pictures in last pictures so you can use them to compare. I have another Onnit kettle bell up.
