Description: 1982 GE CT03000 Versatron Digital Touch Control Toaster Oven - VIDEO Clip This is perhaps the rarest toaster oven ever made by General Electric. In the early 80s as the promise of a push button electronic kitchen was slowly being experimented with in major appliances GE rolled out this very expensive countertop oven. It bakes, broils, slo-cooks and digitally makes toast with a sensor. Its also woodgrain. These units due to their cost were very low production, but undoubtedly sit at the top of the heap for this era. If you have any doubt do an internet search on this model and see if you find an actual photo of one of these in existence? The print ad of the day is all you’ll find. All functions work properly and are discussed at great length in the video below. You’ll have to cut and paste the address in your browser. Why not subscribe while your there as I have many electronic oddity demos on the channel. https://youtu.be/JQHAptGaPr8?si=2Sx7dR8nKbKx6dIr Condition: The only real defect is darkening of the woodgrain contact paper on the top which was an issue on the whole lineup. Replacement rosewood contact papers are available if you want perfect over original. The interior is continuous cleaning porcelain. Digital display is bright and power cord in good shape. Included a photo of one of the magazine ads of the day. This is not included. Ask any questions you have. If you collect the way out period pieces it might be for you. Thanks for clicking and hope you had fun looking!
