Description: This is a 17th century engraving entitled " Cordis Effviso" by old master artist Alexander de Voet in 1699. The engraving by A.Voet is a technical masterpiece, which is quite rare and infrequently seen in museum collections and I have not seen one for sale. This beautiful engraving is presented in original Hand Made Frame from the Florence, Italy Premier Shop of Giovanni Baccani with gold leaf interior and comes with a Certificate of Guarantee, measuring 7.5" x 7" in the frame and the sheet measures 3.5" x 3.25". The engraving is a very fine impression in very good condition. The Engraving depicts a Woman with a heart shaped jug and a Angel standing beside her as she pours the jug out and as I understand the meaning of the Latin "Cordis Effviso" is the heart poured out. Giovanni Baccani Galleria The Blue Shop has been in Business since 1903 and Authenticate their Engraving and this piece is sealed with the shops certificates Please look at my Pictures as they are an Important Part of my Description as they Show Exactly what you will Receive and Please ask Questions before you Buy as I am Always Happy to Answer all Inquiries
