It is sturdy aluminum and glass construction, not cheap plastic. This is from an overpurchase, so we have 8 others, but due to design changes we ended up with two extras. So I can attest to their function and style. Fits standard "6x6" post (actual post measurement 5.5" x 5.5"). But it includes an adaptor for a slightly smaller posts (actual post dimensions 5.5" x 5.5"). All hardware is included. (Selling as a matched pair.)
