Description: 1982 Actual Rare Original Film StripPROP From The Haunted MansionWalt Disney World From the Graveyard featuring: Thurl Ravenscroft Uncle Theodore - Leader of The Singing Busts Broken Headed Bust There are Three shots (frames) of: Thurl Ravenscoft (Broken Headed Bust). The Five Singing Busts (Cousin Al, Ned Nub, Phineas Pock, Rollo Runkin, and Uncle Theodore), the man whose head is broken (some thought because of the resemblance it was Walt Disney) is Thurl Ravenscroft who is Uncle Theodore, Singing Lead in "Grim Grinning Ghost" and who was the voice of many Disney animated characters and narrations, as well as being the voice of Tony the Tiger. He also sang: "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" a Christmas song that was originally composed and written for the cartoon special in 1966: How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. The lyrics written by: Theodore "Dr. Seuss" Geisel, the music composed by: Albert Hague, and the song performed by: Thurl Ravenscroft. Thurl's name was mistakenly left off the shows credits. The singers harmonizing in the Graveyard at The Mansion with Thurl are: Bob Ebright, Jay Meyer, Verne Rowe, and Chuck Schroeder. This is Three full frames from the film, when the film broke, it would be replaced. I have heard talk that these are all digital pictures now, which makes this a great addition to any Haunted Mansion Buff´s collection. This film is 50+ years old! I received these films from a person who had worked in the Liberty Square area of the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World. Each of the 3 clip/strip is approximately 1" in length. I believe the clips show much better in person, the scanner has a difficult time with transparencies. Each scan utilized a different light setting. Please remember: these reels of film were in junk cans located next to projectors located around the specific scenes and were being trashed because Disney only shows the best. I hope this explains more thorough. I once heard a couple of stories from an old Disney Manager that part of the original plans at the Mansion were that as you leaned backwards to descend to the graveyard that there was to have been a holographic type figure shoveling dirt as if to be burying the occupants of the Doom Buggy in the Cemetery Alive ! True. And that on opening day at the Tokyo, Japan Haunted Mansion the custodial crews were attempting to make the entire park spotless, well yes, they even vacuumed the spider webs out of the Mansion! True.As the ONLY Legible Book Title reads in the Library at the Mansion, The Art of Deception. This plays out, throughout the attraction. Please email through eBay with any wants or questions.I also have film clips of: Master Gracey, Madame Leota, Phineas Pock, Ned Nub, Cousin Al, and Little Leota. I give discounts for multiple character purchases mailed in same package!International buyer´s are welcome, but MUST email me in advance to discuss mailing and insurance cost. Film Clip was carefully inserted into an Ultra Pro Card Sleeve (Archival Safe with NO PVC) then the Clip wasinserted into an Ultra Pro Regular TopLoader 3" x 4" and then scanned into my PC. The photos of the Singing Busts and The Art of Deception Book are from the internet. The single face shot was from the same reel of film as in this auction (just earlier), but it was scanned with a special transparency scanning device. The scan with the old Indian Head One Cent coin is for size reference only and not included in sale. Payment accepted through PayPal.
