From a gunsmith's estate. New old stock, unbranded, .308 30 Caliber 1 in 12 twist medium heavy rifle barrel blank. Has not been cut off, finished, or threaded for any particular brand receiver. Uncut barrel measures 27 & 13/16" OAL currently. Would finish off between 24 & 26", depending if you want the bulbous protrusion at the muzzle end for a built in muzzle brake or not. Measures 1.200" at the breech end, .580" at the narrowest part of the muzzle end, and .685" at the "bulb" at the muzzle end. Weight is 3 lbs., 8 ozs as it is right now. Bore has strong, sharp rifling as you would expect from a New Old Stock barrel blank. Does have some residual rust inside from long term storage. Barrel needs to be installed by a professional, qualified, trained, gunsmith, and NO, I do NOT mean your cousin Bubba who also fixes washing machines!!!
