Description: Pop Fiction murder mystery games are scripted and acted out by 8-10 players. The goal is to figure out who the murderer is! This murder mystery game is based off of your favorite characters from the Wizard of Oz! Instructions on how to play as well as character booklets will be available after purchasing. Synopsis: The Wizard has left Oz for a trip around the world in his hot air balloon, and Mayor Munchkin has become corrupt in his absence. He took it upon himself to create new laws that have made life difficult for many. Can you figure out which resident was upset enough to murder Mayor Munchkin? Meet the suspects: Glinda She’s the Good Witch of the North who is currently in charge of Oz. She’s patient and kind, but she’s also under pressure to maintain order in the Wizard’s absence. Dorothy She speaks her mind and has a big heart. She currently runs a dog rescue mission in Oz. Unfortunately, Mayor Munchkin’s laws have put many dogs in jeopardy. The Scarecrow Now that the Scarecrow has a brain, all he wants to do is learn. He was taking classes to become an engineer, but he had to stop because of the mayor’s new law. The Tin Man No one has a bigger heart than the Tin Man, but some believe his heart clouds his good judgement. Currently, he’s upset because the mayor’s new law has stopped him from truly following his heart. The Lion With his newfound courage, the Lion is dedicated to protecting those he loves. He isn’t happy with Mayor Munchkin’s new laws, and he isn’t going to stand by and do nothing! The Flying Monkey Formerly employed by the Wicked Witch of the West, the Flying Monkey has asked the Tin Man for help withbecoming a better monkey. The Tin Man has been a great role model, but old habits die hard. Uncle Henry Dorothy’s Uncle Henry is a farmer at heart, and he bought some farmland in Oz that has flourished under his care.Some think he’s a bit crotchety, but he’s just looking out for his livelihood. Aunt Em Living in Oz has changed Dorothy’s Aunt Em. She has ditched the frumpy farm clothes and has started her own clothingline. She’s hip, stylish, and has a whole new attitude!Eight players are needed to play the game. Two additional characters are available who are not suspects in the crime, but they have an active part in the game. The extra characters are helpful in case there are last minute cancellations since they can fill in as one of the 8 main players needed to play the game.
