Description: A hardcover sewing guide in good condition, copyright 1963 by the McCall's Corporation, 1st edition 1964, and this is the 2nd printing of the 1st edition 1965; DJ is in acceptable condition, entirely present but the Mylar-like skin is fraying and there is a tear at the upper fold of the front flap along with some other frayed edges on the flap folds and the lower and upper edges of the DJ and its spine; someone had previously taped a plastic wrap-like material over the DJ in the past and it was so tattered that it had to be removed, which actually improved the book's appearance, however, there are brown marks on the front & back inside covers & front & back fly pages where the tape had worn off; still, the underneath blue cloth cover boards & spine are in solid, very good condition showing surprisingly minimal wear from being well protected; likewise, the text block is entirely intact, sound, and has clear pages with some light tanning as might be expected in a 60-year-old collectible.
