The front panel and other parts of the box are made of solid keyaki wood with a nice texture of wiped lacquer that makes the most of the grain. The inside of the drawers are made of solid paulownia wood. Each drawer works well. The handles, made from the late Edo period to the Meiji period, have a nice atmosphere.
