Exteriors show wear such as rubbing and bumping to edges and spine caps. Volume one shows discoloration to cloth at top of spine, and front board has a stain to the bottom of the front board. Top edges of text blocks are toned and text blocks may have minor marks. Text block of volume three is foxed all around. Otherwise, bindings are tight, hinges and joints taut, and corners remain sharp. Interiors are clean. Pages are unmarred by wrinkles, stains, markings, or tears. Dust jackets of volumes two and three have original prices intact. Volume one has been clipped and the price mark on volume four has been blacked out. Some toning and rubbing due to shelf wear. Volume one is missing the top piece of the spine panel. Otherwise, dust jackets are mostly intact, with only wrinkling and small chips to edges and corners, and a few small, closed tears.
