Description: This is a Gentex 177 Auto-dim with compass and temp. This newer model 177 displays both at the same time in a stacked display. It is in like new condition. It can be installed in ANY vehicle with a standard wedge mount mirror. It will come with the harness pigtail for the mirror, a functioning temp sensor, and wiring instructions. It has been tested and will be calibrated for your location(sometimes, they will lose cal in shipment-instructions are included for quick re-calibration). This mirror is an easy installation with just 4 wires to hook up, and zip-tying the temp sensor in grille area. All you will need is some extra wire, and some basic knowledge of wiring. That being said, this is as basic of an install as you can have. If you can wire up an amp(about the same procedure since you'll be running the temp sensor wires through the firewall, except your power doesn't come from the battery; it comes from wherever is easiest to locate (with a test light). Every car is different, and there's no one right way to do any install. You have pretty much unlimited different paths to take. If you can run wire through to the front of the car, crimp wires, and test your source wires; then you have all the needed skills. I am happy to answer hundreds of questions and take multiple calls from customers who need technical assistance. I'll do everything I can to advise(and even teach) anyone who needs help; but that is at your own risk. I promise to deliver you a functional mirror with all the info you need for proper function. I'm not saying I can turn you into a qualified installer; although I have done that countless times. Camsmirrors will not be held liable for any damage that is caused by your installation. By buying any item not advertised as "plug and play", you are expected to know how to add an electrical accessory to a vehicle or take it to someone who can. I am still available pretty much 365 days a year to quickly respond to any questions you or your installer may have. And another thing....adding a mirror to your new car WILL NOT void any factory warranty. I hear that from customers way too often. It's just simply untrue. If it were true, the electrical automotive aftermarket would not exist. There's way more risk involved in alarms, stereo systems, and the many other customizations that people have been doing to new cars for decades.
