Rounded thumbpiece, with ring handle allows the tastevin to be worn suspended from a chain. Unique ram head figural ornament decorating the thumbpiece. Engraved initials CV to the side near the handle. Hallmarked with the French Minerve mark, in use after 1994, to denote a silver content of .800/1000. Bearing a silversmith's mark.
