Description: This is a womens trench coat top coat by Burberry’s that is a vintage style Prorsum model line in a size 8, which is a small/ medium according to size charts. This was purchased and finished by the original owner at Kraft Braunschweig in Germany. This coat is not perfect, so please read the description below as well as refer to the photos. But since it’s rare and a vintage Burberry’s it is still a great legacy heirloom coat to consider. Please verify all measurements before bidding please. This is made of an elegant 85% wool and 15% camel hair is the classic camel brown. This is a single breasted 4 button front jacket with the hidden button placket. It Has two buttons with a strap at the cough, a single vented rear with button closure at the back, and two side hacking pockets which also feature a button closure. The size and measurement details are noted below: CHEST - 42 inches measured around the outside circumference of the jacket as if it was being worn by a person. This is measured as a tailor would measure around the circumference of the entire jacket when closed. We do not measure laying flat. SLEEVES - 30 1/2 inches from the center of the back at the neckline down the shoulder and arms to the end of the cuff. 22 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. SHOULDERS - 17 inches from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. WAISTLINE - 45 inches measured around the outside circumference of the jacket as if it was being worn by a person. This is measured as a tailor would measure around the circumference of the entire jacket when closed. We do not measure laying flat. BUST = 36 inches noted average size for a 8, Small/ Medium by Burberry’s. Please note that since this is a vintage overcoat, these were created in a smaller size compared to today’s sizing. That’s why it’s listed as a small, medium so please compare the measurements above. This coat was worn and enjoyed and while it is great, it is not perfect. The exact age is not known, but all in all this vintage coat shows the great quality that went into making these years ago as well as the fact the original owner took great loving care in keeping this coat. Please note that there is a small hole on the left-hand side just below where the arm hole would meet the side of the coat. The hole is about the size of a P, and the original owner intended to have it repaired by a tailor or alteration shop, but never did. This is shown in the last two photos and the damage it is not hugely significant. It is not really seen when wearing based on its location. Since it is a high end material and sells for a high price tag, even with this small imperfection it is a great coat to own and enjoy for many many years to come. On the inside, there are a few minor lining stains for age, typical wear and storage. These are never seen and do not effect wearing this overcoat. There may also be some loose interior lining threads here or there, but nothing significant at all. You will be proud to own and wear this classic Burberry’s Prorsum camel hair and wool overcoat trench coat. If this size fits you, this is a great find!
