This item is a semi-inletted gunstock and requires final inletting, detail shaping and the buyer will need to apply a finish of their own choosing. Bastogne walnut (English and Claro walnut Hybrid) semi-inlet wood gunstock machined for the standard large ring M-98 Mauser bolt action rifle. Classic style sporter rifle gunstock with shadowline cheekpiece, flat sawn, nice wood colors, very good fiddleback figure. This stock has some checks/voids (repaired) - Please see yellow arrows, forend is 8 5/8" long. This gunstock was basic machined from a 29-year-old air dried blank. This M-98 large ring Mauser bolt action rifle semi-inlet wood gunstock was basic machined on a custom built Hoenig-Rodman gunstock duplicator.
