Description: Magnificent Giant Bari Wiking 7091 Handmade Smooth Bent Sitting Freehand Tobacco Pipe W/Plateau Top and Ferrule By Viggo Nielsen of Denmark Bari Wiking 7091 Giant Handmade in Denmark Smooth Bent Freehand with Plateau Top in Outstanding Smoked Condition. A Giant Bari Wikingwith a Slightly forward Canted Bowl with a Beautifully curved shank and Craggy Plateau Top. Excellent Flame grain & Straight grain covering the pipes entirety with a gorgeous contrasting walnut over black finish. The stem is Jet black Vulcanite with Zero Chatter and sports the "BARI" stamping in white. Bari Piber was founded by Viggo Nielsen in Kolding around the turn of 1950/51. Viggo's sons Kai Nielsen and Jrgen Nielsen both grew into their father's business from a very young age and worked there till 1975. Bari had very successfully adapted the new Danish Design that had been started mainly by Stanwell for it's own models. Viggo sold Bari in the late 70s. ge Bogelund was in charge of the Bari factory after Viggo Nielsen. During factory operation and after the factory closed. From 1978 to 1993 ge Bogelund and Helmer Thomsen headed Bari's pipe production.
