Description: Very collectible and hard to find high-grade Aurora watch company that is a 15 Jewel, marked adjusted with bright two tone checkerboard Damaskeening. A beautiful movement with gilt gold lettering and gold. Timing screws. Nice high-grade Hurd regulator. Watch is in running condition and seems to keep good time, but I have not checked it over a long. Watch is lever set and winds andsets correctly. Dial is the original double sunk Roman numeral Aurora dial that is a nice dial but does have some hairlines. Very Nice hands. Case is a massive screw back and bezel, nickel silver case with engraving and initials on back but does show lots of wear, a good working and attractive heavy case. Watch is in the sidewinder configuration. A very nice early railroad grade antique pocket watch. Serial number 81105, circuit 1886 making this watch just under 140 years old.
