Description: VICTORIAN TRINKET BOX A good example of a late Victorian oak trinket box with hinged lid. Fitted with campaign style recessed brass fittings which give it a quality appearance. The interior has been relined with a lovely soft deep green velvet; ideal for jewellery or precious items. Date: late 19th Century. Condition: Very good functional condition and ready for use with a relined interior. Externally the box has been refinished and polished to a high sheen level and the fittings have been lightly but not overly cleaned. The key is absent but the lock is in the unlocked position.
