Description: This gorgeous carter cave Uniface knife was found in Cincinnati- is made from beautifully striped carter cave chert and measures 4 1/8 inches long. - I got it from a Bennett auction. It has awesome parallel percussion flaking and edge retouch is phenomenal. The base is thinned or fluted on one side and the resharpening forms a steep bevel and a distinctive curvature on the left hand face. I have collected a number of these over the years and believe is an unnamed type as they all share these common features.
