Description: Restaurant ware cup and saucer in the exclusive pattern for the 115-room Ahwahnee Hotel, Yosemite National Park, California, that opened on July 14, 1927. These pieces were manufactured in England by Steelite International and consist of an ivory body with black and rust Southwestern geometric design. Approximate Dimensions: Cup: 2-3/8" tall Saucer: 5-7/8" diameter. Very good condition with no chips or cracks, although there are a few utensil marks here and there from age and use, and the underside of the saucer has several rough “stilt marks” from the kiln-firing process when the saucer was manufactured.
