The used net is then stored in old gear piles or shanties. I reclaim the nets and cut, clean, and package it myself. It is a long, tedious process and requires a crew of helpers, as a commercial net is approx. 1500 ft long, 50 ft wide and weighs over 4000 lbs. This is quality net made from super strong nylon and is not like the cheaper cotton net that you see in party stores.
