Color of blue will vary depending on the individual traits and current stage of development. Molting (shedding) crayfish will become soft and will appear lighter in color. Genders cannot be guaranteed at this age. If you do not want them to breed it is best to place them in separate tanks. Live arrival Guaranteed! Crayfish are quarantined and fasted (not fed) for at least 24 hours prior to shipping to prevent waste within the bag. Expect less than 33% water fill in the bag. This allows for more oxygen to be exchanged during transit and greatly increases the chance of survival. Fish will be shipped in an insulated foam container.
