No. 3 - 1901-1910 - Second Congregational Society, 1827; Incorporation of Church and Society, 1908; and Ten Years of Community Life. each issue contains more than what is stated above From the introduction in number three – the first number of the old and the new appeared in December, 1899. It contain matter relating to the history in the existing state of the church. It was illustrated, and contained advertisements. It's successful sale in Rich the proceeds of the annual fair. The addition of 300 copies has long since been exhausted. The old and the new, number two, was issued in the summer of 19 oh one under the auspice is of the ladies reading club. In addition to the programs of the club for eight years they contain the substance of a certain Hartford afternoon at the club, and which each member told some fact or story, not previously printed, concerning the history of Hartford. It contain pictures of people and localities of an early date, and a map of the village, made from the town records, as it was from 1800 to 1830. It was privately printed. The present issue of the magazine contains a history of the beginnings of the second congregational society, and a count of the recent incorporation of church and society and the one body, and a record of what all institutions in enterprise in the Village are doing today. The addition number is 500 copies. laid into one of the publications is the photograph of Lyman (?) Cotton Mills.
