A great find from a local New England estate! This scarce antique volume is over 168 years old! In fantastic condition overall! Original publisher blue cloth binding shows just gentle wear for age, including gentle rubbing and soiling to the boards and spine, general wear around the extremities including light bumping to the corners and spine extremes, and minor spotting and soiling to the page edges. Binding is also slightly cocked. Otherwise this is an attractive, well-preserved antique volume! The title lettering on the spine displays nicely from the shelf! Internally, this volume is in great shape as well. Both boards and all page groupings remain firmly attached to the binding. Inscribed and signed in contemporary ink on the front free fly page. Otherwise clean with no bookplates or library markings to note. The text block of this volume is clean throughout. Pages show typical age-related toning, as well as foxing and light soiling scattered throughout, some some general light edge wear, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings. Perfectly readable throughout! Nicely illustrated with engravings. Make sure to see the photos above for complete details. 215 pages.
